This unit is responsible for evaluating, enhancing and implementing the assessment process related to the graduate attributes and learning outcomes of the institution, programs and courses. The unit plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ learning and strengthening the effectiveness of the educational programs by supporting continuous improvement, maintaining educational quality and ensuring that the university meets its graduate attributes and educational goals.


Units Functions:

  • Ensure that the students master the knowledge, skills and values of their programs.
  • Verify that the students have developed the University Graduate Attributes through their educational experiences within the institution.
  • Ensure compliance of assessment processes with the NCAAA standards.
  • Develop assessment guidelines, forms and policies.
  • Verify the assessment plans at the programs and institutional level.
  • Ensure that the programs learning outcomes assessment results are recorded in the program annual reports and approved by Department Quality Assurance Committee, Department Council and the School Quality Assurance Committee.
  • Review the Annual Report of the programs in relation to the achievement of the programs intended learning outcomes and their improvement plans.>
  • Measure the achievement of the institution`s Learning Outcomes and Graduate Attributes.
  • Complete the assessment cycle by analyzing the results and identifying educational areas that require improvement based on the assessment findings.Share the improvement plans with the Academic Affairs Quality Assurance Committee for approval and oversee their implementation.
  • Follow up on the mapping of program PLOs and NCAAA approved PLOs to prepare for Jaheziya exam.
