The Diploma of Fashion Design and Merchandising provides an edge in today's fashion world. During this 9-month Diploma at DAH, students will learn the skills, knowledge, and techniques required to get them into the workforce of the Fashion Industry, whether it is in design, manufacturing, wholesale or retail areas. Students will also learn sewing, pattern making, draping, visual merchandising, and creating a fashion collection. Fashion Illustration, fabrics, and retail are also greatly emphasized. In the final semester, students will have the opportunity to prepare a professional portfolio, and apply for professional jobs in the industry locally and internationally.

exhibit proficiency in technical skills in sewing, illustration, design, pattern making, textiles, and merchandising;

produce Fashion Design & Visual Merchandising solutions & deal with problem-solving;
become familiar with the Fashion Industry & Merchandising demands;
prepare a professional Portfolio to prepare you for the workforce.
