Message from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees

It is with immense pleasure and pride that I welcome you at Dar Al–Hekma University!

Dar Al-Hekma University has always carried a noble message decreed by its founders who sought with determination and persistence to achieve its goals. The year 1999 witnessed the launching of Dar Al-Hekma University, a non-profit institution of higher education, which embodies the high sense of national and social responsibility of its founders who strove to adopt world-class and high-standard academic programs that meet the requirements of national development and are comparable in their educational quality and impact and supportive activities to universal education.

Today, the University is close to completing two decades of its existence. This period of time culminates in obtaining, for the second time, institutional academic accreditation from the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (Educational Evaluation Authority) for the period 2017-2024, which confirms how the University's administration is pursuing and is keen on maintaining educational quality and attracting local and global educational competencies. The University gloriously marks this period with the introduction of a number of master's programs based on the study of the society's needs for the majors and disciplines that contribute to a pioneering national renaissance, which is an approach that the University has always followed.

We are very proud of Dar Al-Hekma's alumnae who embody the success of the vision and the mission of the University by having made their marks, since the first batch of graduates, both locally and internationally. Our alumnae, among whom are inventors and innovators have been instrumental in spreading knowledge through local and international educational forums which have witnessed their inspiring excellence for future generations.

On behalf of all the members of the Board of Trustees and myself, I express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Ministry of Education and the former Board of Trustees for their continuous support to the University. I also extend my thanks to the Dar Al-Hekma family who has proficiently fulfilled the University mission. Dar Al-Hekma is a pioneering University that is expected tokeep pace with scientific progress by offering programs that are needed now and in the future of the University's academic journey that is inspired by the Kingdom's ambitious Vision 2030, which the University is striving to accomplish.
