​Graduate Scholarships 


Dar Al-Hekma University is committed to making education affordable by offering comprehensive scholarships, some of which are on the basis of excellence and merit, and some on the basis of need and achievement. Accordingly,  the University enables its academically outstanding students to complete their studies and graduate with international standards; thus, empowering them to contribute to and participate in building a bright future for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the region in general.



Scholarships for Graduate Programs

To be considered for Al-Elm Scholarship, applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

  • The applicant must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.75 on a scale of 5, or its equivalent
  • A minimum score of 530-550 and above (depending on the program English Proficiency Requirement) in the In-house TOEFL or its equivalent
  • ​​Evidence of Fina​ncial need

Dar Al-Hekma Scholarship offered to applicants with high academic standing.
To be considered for a Dar Al-Hekma Scholarship, applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

  • The applicant must have an undergraduate CGPA of at least 4 on a scale of 5, or its equivalent
  • A minimum score of 530-550 and above (depending on the program English Proficiency Requirement) in the In-house TOEFL or its equivalent
  • Evidence of Financial need

​Dar Al-Hekma Scholarship offered for applicants with high academic standing.
To be considered for a Dar Al-Hekma Scholarship, applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

  • The applicant must have an undergraduate CGPA of at least 4.75 on a scale of 5 (with first honor), or its equivalent;
  • A minimum score of 530-550 and above (depending on the program English Proficiency Requirement) in the In-house TOEFL or its equivalent
  • Evidence of Financial need
*the Scholarship does not cover applicants to Master of Education Leadership

The University offers Scholarships on tuition fees for the following cases:

  • Siblings studying at Dar Al-Hekma.
  • Groups of 4 applicants (or more) provided that they are registered, and tuition fees are paid to all applicants in the group.
  • Employees and daughters of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and its agencies (Communications and Information Technology Commission, Digital Government Authority, Saudi Post (SPL), and National Digital Transformation Unit)
  • Employees and daughters of the Medical Staff of Ministry of Health
  • Dar Al-Hekma University Alumna 
  • Employees and daughters of Soldiers at the southern border
  • Employees of Dar Al-Hekma and immediate family members of employees (parents, siblings, spouses, son or daughter). This discount is used only once.
  • Sons and daughters of martyrs of duty

Financial Documents required to apply for Dar Al-Hekma Scholarships

An applicant must submit evidences of financial need as follows:

  • Employer's certificate specifying the monthly income of parents/guardian/student as follows:
    • For employees in the private sector : Statement of monthly income provided by the General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI) Or a Letter about the salary endorsed by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce.
    • For employees in the government sector : Statement of the monthly income provided by the workplace.
    • For self-employed persons or business owners: Bank statement for the past six months in addition to Certificate of Registration at the Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the main institution.
    • For unemployed persons: Statement from the District Chief verifying the family size and the number of dependents on the head of the family.
    • For a deceased parent/guardian: Death certificate and a monthly income certificate for the current family financial supporter.
  • Copy of the residence rent contract (if any). The original is required for verification.
  • A certificate verifying the education tuition fees for all the family members.
  • Copy of Absher screen showing all student's parent/guardian/student dependents (for non-Saudi), Copy of Family Identification Card (for Saudi)
  • Any other related financial documents..

Note:

  • A student who fulfills the conditions of the scholarship and obtains her/his scholarship permanently, she/he is not entitled to apply for another scholarship, nor to combine between two scholarships.
  • Students should be aware that all original records, letters, and other documents provided to the University as part of the scholarship process will be kept at the University.
  • The University reserves the right to evaluate the adequacy of all the official papers submitted for scholarships.
  • All data will be kept in strict confidence.
  • This scholarship covers twoyears of study for a master's degree at Dar Al-Hekma University based on the chosen major.
