Other Requirements
  • Applicants from academic backgrounds other than the Saudi secondary school system must submit the original high school certificate stamped by The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM), or submit a letter from the Ministry of Education (MOE) verifying that their high school certificates are equivalent to the Saudi certificates.
  • Applicants from academic backgrounds other than the Saudi secondary school system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia must fulfill the admission criteria as follows:
    • International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE):
      • 8 IGCSE O-Level courses* or
      • 5 IGCSE O-Level courses and 2 AS-Level courses* or
      • 5 IGCSE O-Level courses and 1 A-Level course*

*The grade of each O-Level course should be C or higher, and the grade of each A-Level and A-S-Level course should be D or higher

    • Any other International High School certificates accredited by MOE such as the International Baccalaureate and the American Diploma.

  • ​Applicants must prove her English language through Institutional Testing Program TOEFL ITP at Dar Al-Hekma, or its equivalent Internet-based Test (iBT) or the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
  • Applicants must sit for Dar Al-Hekma English Placement Test which will place them in the advisable Module, or Course.

  • All applicants are encouraged to sit for the Professional Interest Test (PIT) in order to be guided to the appropriate major.

  • Applicants to the Law Department must be proficient in both the Arabic and the English language, which are the languages of instruction and examination. The Admission and Enrollment Department checks applicants' transcripts to evaluate their Arabic language proficiency and, if necessary, refers them to the Law Department Chair for an interview to decide whether to accept in the major or not.
  • Applicants to the Architecture Department and only who graduated with Literary Track from High School must sit for a Math Placement Test (MPT) during the admission period to assess their aptitude and ability to enroll in the math courses required by the Department. Students who fail the MPT will not be admitted to the Architecture Department.
  • Applicants to Bachelor of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences must be interviewed by the Department Chair of the applied major who decides whether they should be accepted in the major or not.
  • Applicants to Hekma School of Engineering, Computing and Informatics must graduate with a Science Track from High School.

  • Applicants must complete a health record, which proves whether they are medically fit.
  • Applicants with disabilities including, physical disability, learning disability, speech and hearing impairment and low vision, have the right to apply to DAH University.
  • The Admission Office refers applicants with the mentioned disabilities to the Health Center.

The following categories of applicants might have conditional acceptance:

  • Applicants having high school below 80%.

  • Applicants who did not take the Qudurat test or scored as low as 65%.

  • Applicants who graduated from high school for more than 5 years.

  • Applicants who have low performance due to critical health or personal problems.
