​​About the Department of Education

The Department of Education is dedicated to promoting excellence in education. It provides specialized programs, such as the Master's in Educational Leadership established in 2017-2018. This program equips aspiring educational leaders with the knowledge, skills, and insights required to navigate the complexities of the ever-evolving field of education with its unique tracks.

Educational Policies and Evaluation Track 

The Educational Policies and Evaluation track aims to enable graduates to contribute to the growth and the strengthening of educational institutions by developing educational policies and practices. Moreover, students will be able, through this track, to carry out the process of educational assessment and evaluation that depends on collecting and analyzing data, developing strategic goals and objectives, as well as evaluating and developing academic programs. 

Teaching and Learning Track

The Teaching and Learning track aims to enable students to construct complex knowledge and acquire advanced knowledge and skills related to all the components of the teaching and learning processes, namely, teaching strategies, classroom management, student counseling, and partnerships between schools and the local community in order to achieve excellence in teaching and learning. 

School Leadership Track

The School Leadership track is designed to prepare and enable graduates to acquire advanced knowledge and skills to lead and manage private, international, and general education schools with their various components, variables, and specificities with the aim of achieving excellence.
