​​​ ​​Master of Educational Leadership ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Program Overview

​The Master of Educational Leadership Program at Dar Al-Hekma University seeks to meet the needs of the educational sector in the Kingdom by qualifying its students to take the lead in educational institutions and to be the front-runners in the teaching and learning processes for the development of the local community. For that purpose, the program empowers the students to construct the relevant knowledge and acquire the needed advanced skills with advanced knowledge and skills, with a high focus on critical, analytical, and creative thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The program is the first in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that provides tracks with different interfaces along with fresh and advanced leading-edge courses and materials under the umbrella of educational leadership, in line with the rapid progress that the Kingdom is witnessing in achieving the while realizing Saudi Vision 2030. This postgraduate program ​is designed to respond to the challenges women often face in planning and participating in higher education such as the confidence gap, the stress gap, and the economic gap. This program will instrumentally enrich the academic field with women's contributions by producing leaders and brilliant supervisors of educational institutions, local organizations, and the society in general. Accordingly, Dar Al-Hekma University aims to meet the needs of society and the country at large by training and graduating women who are able to efficiently and competently work to improve the country and the region. ​

The program offers three master's ​degree tracks, namely a master’s degree in educational policies and evaluation, a master’s degree in school leadership, and a master’s degree in Teaching and Learning (currently on hold)​​. For students interested in scholarships, Dar Al-Hekma University offers a variety of graduate scholarships.


Teaching and Learning Track​

This track aims to enable students to construct complex knowledge and acquire advanced knowledge and skills related to all the components of the teaching and learning processes, namely, teaching strategies, classroom management, student counseling, and partnerships between schools and the local community in order to achieve excellence in teaching and learning.​

Preparing qualified educational leaders to create a learning-teaching environment with a clear vision to support scientific research, analytical, critical, and creative thinking skills, and employ modern technologies to contribute to the development of the ​​​​local community.
