As the Dean of the School of Design and Architecture at Dar AlHekma University, it is my goal to ensure that our students graduate with the highest level of skill and knowledge from the most innovative curriculums that will allow them to integrate seamlessly in the fast changing job market.
The Hekma School of Design and Architecture is constantly evolving. It has expanded and our curriculums have been revised, and we are set to provide our students with real world skills that meet the immediate needs of the job market. We provide them with the fundamental knowledge base for a continually evolving career that will grow within the social, cultural and economic changes in Saudi Arabia according to Vision 2030.
The latest development in the Hekma School of Design and Architecture is the establishment of the Master of Architecture, which will open more doors for our graduates to develop and enhance their careers in that field. Another recent development is the establishment of Game Art as a track under the Visual Communication department. The gaming industry is quite new in the country, but by establishing such an area of study we are pioneering in setting the stage for such an industry tofurthergrow and evolve.
The Hekma School of Design and Architecture has been in the forefront in establishing successful relationships between industry and education. We have also been successful in securing funds and significant support for better exposure of our students' skills and talents. This will later help them secure future jobs or in establishing their own businesses.
The Hekma School of Design and Architecture will always strive to provide excellence in teaching and education.
