The Cybersecurity department was established as one department of the school of Engineering computing and informatics in Dar Al-Hekma university in the academic year 2018/2019.​

Department Objectives

1- Qualify specialized and distinctive graduates in Cybersecurity to fulfill the requirements of the country.

2- Ensure best teaching strategies, alternative methods, and program offerings to meet current and future market needs and students learning differences.

3- Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts.

4- Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in computing practice based on legal and ethical principles.

5- Function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline.
