Scholarships Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Scholarship Administration Responsibilities 

  • Evaluate and analyze scholarship applicants’ financial need and eligibility for financial aid programs, and determine the appropriate type and level of financial assistance. 
  • Collect, enter, edit, and update scholarship applicant data accurately in the University database. 
  • Coordinate and manage scholarship applicant interviews conducted by the Scholarship Committee. 
  • Assign approved scholarship recipients to prospective donors, as applicable. 
  • Monitor scholarship students’ academic and non‑academic performance, as well as scholarship duration and coverage. 
  • Generate and submit scholarship progress reports as requested by management or relevant stakeholders. 
  • Maintain and continuously update scholarship students’ records related to registration and enrollment processes. 
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and generate all scholarship contracts and related documentation. 
  • Prepare, review, and update scholarship forms in accordance with departmental requirements. 
  • Review and regularly update scholarship policies and procedures to ensure alignment with institutional needs and regulations. 

Recruitment and Outreach Responsibilities 

  • Lead and contribute to the implementation of the University’s student recruitment strategy in alignment with institutional enrollment objectives. 
  • Supervise and coordinate recruitment and outreach activities to ensure effective execution, target achievement, and alignment with strategic priorities. 
  • Plan, prepare, coordinate, and manage a wide range of recruitment initiatives for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including Open Days, information sessions, recruitment activities, workshops, and campus tours. 
  • Represent and promote the University to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students through school and organizational presentations, participation in education fairs, and direct engagement with students and parents. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools and organizations to promote University programs and provide pre‑admission guidance.
