Rising Above the Tides

I am addressing you today confident that Dar AI-Hekma has always been and will always remain true to its values, mission, and higher purpose. Assuming my job as the new president of Dar AI-Hekma, I take on a responsibility that might seem heavy on my shoulders yet dear to my heart. Though I know the path ahead might be strenuous, I feel highly honored and enthusiastic about new opportunities.

I am proud of what Dar AI-Hekma achieved in the last 20 years by educating bright young women, equipping them with knowledge, arming them with confidence, and building their characters to transform their world. Our strategic planning, excellent academic programs, outstanding faculty, and multi-dimensional student development activities have always been reflected in the much-celebrated successes of our qualified graduates and alumnae beyond the University locally and internationally.

Together, with our consolidated efforts, we can change lives, transform perspectives, develop our society, and prepare a brighter future for generations to come by graduating accomplished women, leaders, and entrepreneurs.

Dr. Abeer Al Doghaither



Dr. Abeer Al Doghaither is the President of Dar al-Hekma University and previously the Provost and the Director of the General Education Department at Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Aldoghaither has been working in the academia for nearly 12 years.

Dr. Al Doghaither is known for her commitment to strengthening the quality of teaching and learning with a focus on expanding the faculty research output and widening community partnerships.
