Program Overview
The Master of Educational Leadership Program at
Dar Al-Hekma University seeks to meet the needs of the educational sector by qualifying its students to take the lead in educational institutions and to be the front-runners in the teaching and learning processes for the development of the local community. For that purpose, the program provides students with advanced knowledge and skills, with a high focus on critical, analytical, and creative thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The program is the first in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that provides fresh and advanced leading-edge courses and materials under the umbrella of educational leadership, in line with the rapid progress that the Kingdom is witnessing in achieving the Saudi Vision 2030. Other master’s degrees tracks offered are a master’s degree in educational policies, a master’s degree in school leadership, and a master’s degree in applied behaviour analysis. Coupled to this, the University offers
graduate scholarships as well.
Program Tracks

Educational Policies and Evaluation: This track aims to enable graduates to contribute to the growth and the strengthening of educational institutions by developing educational policies and practices. Moreover, through this track, students will be able to carry out the process of educational assessment and evaluation that depends on collecting and analyzing data, developing strategic goals and objectives, and evaluating the effectiveness of academic programs. Students are provided with all the necessary tools to qualify them to contribute to the development of the entire learning - teaching process.

School Leadership: The school leadership track aims to enable students to acquire advanced knowledge and skills to lead schools in order to achieve institutional excellence.

Teaching and Learning: This track aims to enable students to acquire advanced knowledge and skills related to all the components of the teaching and learning processes, namely, teaching strategies, classroom management, student counseling, and partnerships between schools and the local community in order to achieve excellence in teaching and learning.
