The Fashion Design program is currently undergoing curriculum review, to align with the mission and goals stated by the newly established Saudi Fashion Commission. The program will be relaunched Soon.

Program Overview

  • The Fashion Design Program at DAH (Under the School of Design & Architecture) offers a range of professional courses in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Textiles, and Creative Studios, a balance between theory & practice. Since its inception in 1999, the Fashion Design Department has always been keen on using innovative teaching methodologies that unearth the creative potential in students and instilling techniques that are needed in the real world of the Fashion Industry.
  • Professional and High quality education is offered by renowned international faculty some of whom are business owners and professionals who bring their real- life experiences to the classroom thus giving a gleaming edge of the industry to students who also go through professional internships, like working with the Haute Couture Fashion Designer Tony Ward, located in Paris, and in Harper's Bazaar Arabia Magazine, located in Dubai.
  • Our Students participate also in field trips, and visit Fashion Weeks events locally and internationally. Guest speakers, and mentors from the Industry are often invited to educate and mentor students during their course of study. The Fashion Design Department has prestigious, and state of the art facilities, and labs where students thrive in creating their own designs.
  • The Program has also external professional advisers and educators serving on the Board of the Program Council, and has signed MOU's with International Prestigious Universities and Fashion Institutes. It also participates in Fashion shows and events locally, and offers professional workshops for the community.
