Message from the chair of the Interior Design Department

Interior designers have the power to inform, reform, and play a vital role in shaping society and the built environment. The program exposes students to diverse contexts and fundamentals of interior design. This is embedded in the curriculum that provides a deep understanding of space, form, color, material, and light.

The curriculum also focuses on multifaceted learning methods including design theory, research, and studios. The variety of projects given to students focuses on collaborative and innovative design solutions for a sustainable and healthy environment, highlighting different aspects of spatial, residential, commercial, and hospitality venues.

A bachelor's degree in interior design provides students with the set knowledge and skills needed for the career market aligned with Vision 2030. The University also offers other bachelor's degrees in visual communication - graphic design track and in architecture. The Department of Architecture gives students the opportunity to further their studies in architecture through a master's degree in architecture that it offers as well.
