Outstanding Alumnae Award OAA
The Outstanding Alumna Award OAA was established in 2014; with the aim of recognizing and honoring Dar Al-Hekma alumnae who embody the University spirit and values.
The success and the achievements of the alumnae are the success of the University, and celebrating their accomplishments inspires students, other alumnae and the DAH community.
Honoring the nominated alumna takes place at the end of each academic year during the Graduation Ceremony, with a monetary prize of $5,000, a trophy, and a certificate.
Each Department Chair nominates one outstanding alumnae who should have one or more of the following requirements;
- Professional and Career Achievements
Once each Department chair has nominated an alumna, the list is presented to the President of the University for the Final Decision. Once the winner is selected by the President, the Development Unit contacts the selected alumna to inform her of the nomination and the date of the award presentation.
