The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test
Overview
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a standardized test designed for non-native speakers to evaluate and certify their Japanese-language proficiency. It is the largest Japanese-language test in the world and is conducted twice a year in Japan and various locations worldwide. Since its inception in 1984, the cumulative number of examinees has reached 15,460,000 as of the December 2023 test.
Dar Al Hekma University: The First JLPT Venue in Saudi Arabia
Dar Al Hekma University is proud to be the first official test venue in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the JLPT. The JLPT certification provides numerous advantages:

In Japan, it is considered for preferential immigration treatment and eligibility for national exams.

Outside Japan, it is widely used for school credits, graduation certification, job screening, promotions, and various national qualifications.
Test Levels:
The
JLPT consists of
five levels: N1, N2, N3, N4, and N5.

N1 is the most advanced level.

N5 is the most basic level.
