Scholarships for Graduate Programs

It is a partial discount of 20% from the regular tuition fees for applicants with high academic standing.

To be considered for Raiaa Program, applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

  • the applicant must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 4 on a scale of 5, or its equivalent;
  • the applicant must meet all admission requirments;
  • applicants are not required to submit evidence of financial need.

Al-Elm Scholarship offers 32% discount on regular University fees, and unlike other awards, places no special restrictions on students' GPA or credit hours.

To be considered for Al-Elm Scholarship, applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

  • the applicant must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.75 on a scale of 5, or its equivalent;
  • the applicant must meet all admission requirements ;
  • the applicant must submit evidence of financial need.

It is a partial scholarship up to 50% from the regular tuition fees for applicants with high academic standing.

To be considered for a Dar Al-Hekma Scholarship, applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

  • the applicant must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 4 on a scale of 5, or its equivalent;
  • the applicant must meet all admission requirments;
  • the applicant must submit evidence of financial need.

The University offers discounts on tuition fees for the following cases:

1.       A discount of 30% for Employees of the following Organizations:

·         Islamic Development Bank (IDB)

·         King Abdulaziz University

·         Jeddah University

2.       A discount of 40% for Daughters of Employees of the following Organizations:

·         Islamic Development Bank (IDB)

·         King Abdulaziz University

·         Jeddah University

3.       A discount of 32% for Daughters and Employees of the following Organizations:

·         Ministry of Health

·         Ministry of Defence

4.       A Discount 40% for for groups:

This discount is given for groups of 4 applicants (or more) provided that they are registered, and tuition fees are paid to all applicants in the group.

5.       A Discount 50% for Dar Al-Hekma University Alumna and Employees.

6.       A Discount of 25% discount for immediate family members of Dar Al-Hekma Employees (parents, siblings, spouses, son or daughter). This discount is used only once.

​The university offers a discount of 15% from the regular tuition fees for 4 applicants or more who completed registration and recieved acceptance.

Financial Documents required to apply for Dar Al-Hekma Scholarships

An applicant must submit evidences of financial need as follows:

  • Employer's certificate specifying the monthly income of applicant/guardian as follows:

    • For employees in the private sector: Statement of monthly income provided by the General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI) or a Letter about the salary endorsed by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce.

    • For employees in the government sector: Statement of the monthly income provided by the workplace.

    • For self-employed persons or business owners: Bank statement for the past six months in addition to Certificate of Registration at the Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the main institution.

    • For unemployed persons: Statement from the District Chief verifying the family size and the number of dependents on the head of the family.

    • For a deceased guardian: Death certificate and a monthly income certificate for the current family financial supporter.

  • Copy of the residence rent contract (if any). The original is required for verification.

  • A certificate verifying the education tuition fees for all the family members.

  • Copy of Absher screen showing all Applicant's /guardian dependents (for non-Saudi), Copy of Family Identification Card (for Saudi)

Note:

  • All offered scholarships except Raiaa Program do not cover the tuition fees of Applicants to the Master of Educational Leadership.
